Loki

I have a FatCatFarm Maine Coon. He is a neutered brown tabby with white. Name is Loki (Norse God of Mischief), which suits him perfectly.  Loki is now about 18 months old, 18lbs and still growing head and bone.  He is quite the clown, well socialized to a point he enjoyed helping the plumber with the tools in his bag the other evening. Loki has 2 Maine Coon brothers, and is by far the most secure of the 3 cats. He is incredibly bright (sits, shakes, rolls over), enjoys a nap on you, next to you, or on your head. He adores his 2 brothers, particularly the Coon that’s a year older than he is. They roll and tumble through the house – although I must admit he is often the instigator of the play. He never puts out his claws, doesn’t claw the furniture, and never bites. If he gets upset with you brushing him, or giving him a bath he just licks you harder. I’d highly recommend a kitten from FatCat Farm,he is adorable, personable and also the most healthy of the 3 cats. He has great gums which isn’t typical of Maine Coons. He never met a human he didn’t view as someone who could entertain or pet him.

Radar

We just want to let you know that Radar our Maine Coon Cat that you bred and provided to us has been an outstanding addition to our household. As you know, we have a two year old female (stray) who we named Emunah and when you and your husband, Mr. Hoffman, offered us the opportunity to visit your Maine Coon kittens we were somewhat concerned (could we live with two cats?). After visiting and playing with the kittens, we became tied to the one named Radar. His ears respond to every sound and physical move in order to acquire the source of the sound. His “Tracking" capabilities are outstanding. He can hear beyond the clutter. He truly reacts like a Missile Defense Radar System. Once a target has been acquired, he launches himself and is on his way for the intercept. Thus your naming him Radar was very appropriate.

He and Emunah have become inseparable. They are a team who eat, sleep, play and sit. They follow us everywhere we go in the house. They even use the litter box together (Emunah goes first). Radar has grown from 24 inches at about 5 pounds to 36 inches at about 12 pounds in the last 4 months.

He is full of energy and very affectionate. He is very lovable. His fur is soft and the colors are brilliant.

When strangers come, he checks them out. He checks every bag, box or other types of packages that come our way. He acts like a TSA agent, smelling and opening everything.
I have included a few pictures.

Again we thank you and wish you and your kittens to be, the best.

PS- Maybe we will get a third cat in the near future. Just let us know when we can come and play with them.

Sierra

I too have a wonderful goof ball from FatCatFarm. Her name is Sierra
and she is 20 months old (a befitting name for 20+ lb towering mammoth). She resides with a 6.5 lb tiny munchkin cat who wins their play battles every time. This shows you the wonderful temperament and docileness of this breed.

She loves our Golden retriever and I believe she herself believes that she is one. It is hilarious to watch a 65 lb dog and 20 lb cat play. The 3 co habitat so well together you would assume they all came from the same litter. She also screams bloody murder if you leave a room without telling her, she wants to be with the family at all times. She sleeps on the pillow next to me and never fails to groom my husband if she believes he didn't wash up very well (technically she is the love of his life).

She is very confident, inquisitive, loving, generous, and most accepting of any animal I have ever owned. My daughter's cat comes for play dates and she greets him as if they have always been together.

FatCatFarm is definitely the cattery to use. You will never be sorry, since these are the most wonderfully loved and socialized cats I have ever come across.

Sundance

1. Sundance is so sweet, interested in what everyone is doing, and affectionate with all of us, especially the children!

2.  We love Sundance and FatCatFarm was SO helpful in preparing us for what to expect, how to get our house and other pets ready, and with any questions we had.
It was also so sweet of Deborah to allow us to visit the kittens several times before we took Sundance home to hopefully familiarize her with us a bit.

3.  I would highly recommend adopting a cat from FatCatFarm.

4.  Sundance has acclimated so well with everyone in the house.  Our older cat has taken a bit of time to get used to the new kitten, but Sundance has been so sweet and affectionate with her, she was eventually won over!  She was very affectionate with our dogs as well (they have both since died), and seemed to sense that one was ill and the other grieving.  Sundance  would sit near or beside them and they just seemed to really enjoy her company.

5.  The kittens were very socialized and the transition period in our house went much faster than I expected...Sundance just fit herself into the routines and behaviors of the other animals and children.

6.  Sundance is very loving, gentle and playful!  She is so mellow and allows herself to be groomed easily.

Fred and Ginger

We have 2 Maine Coons from FatCatFarm, a male and a female...We love the cats from FatCatFarm. We especially like the large size of the cats...We definitely would and have recommended FatCatFarm.

Both cats get along well with everyone in the house, from children to the dog. However, we have one older female coon who does not like any other cats, which is more her problem for sure. Both cats do get along well with a male Norwegian Forest Cat who tends to be pals with the Maine Coon.

Both cats are well socialized and secure in their environment...The female tends to be much more mellow than the male, although he can be mellow at times too.

Minish

I was born in November of 2007. At eight months, I weigh over eleven pounds. I am growing fast and I think I will be around 16 pounds by the time I reach a year of age. My name in Turkish means small and cute. I am defiinitely cute but not small.

My favorite past time is playing with my toys and when I get bored of those, I can make a toy out of almost anything. But, I don't usually get in trouble because I am gentle and never use my teeth.

The most amazing thing I have done so far in my short life is traveled on an airplane for over twenty hours without any medicine to help keep me calm. I didn't meow once and most of the people sitting around me didn't even know I was on the plane. I think my human mom had a harder time with the flight than I did.

I am a great cat and you would be lucky to have a cat that is as wonderful as I am. Yes, I am confident and happy to show it to anyone who comes to visit me.

My human parents love me dearly and I love them too especially at 3:00 in the morning. This is the perfect time to walk all over them. I am sure they love it!

Artemis

Artemis has the most laid back, easy going personality of any cat we have owned.  He is very social, needs to be around all the family. He allows our sons to carry him around like a sack of potatoes.  He enjoys riding like that so much, saw him actually cleaning his paws as my son walked him around the house.

Artemis has an amazing ability to adapt to any new surrounding. Since we adopted him in February, Artemis has  been subjected to the selling of our home, living in many temporary quarters, driving cross country and moving into a new home.  All the time taking it in stride and being a part of the process. Not afraid or show any signs of uneasiness. He has that "Bring it On!" attitude.

We are extremely pleased with Artemis, all the family loves him including his mentor, the Beagle! Our family would go to FatCatFarm for another cat without a question.

Thanks Deb/Don for such a wonderful animal.

Itty Bitty

Hi. I am the proud owner of my beautiful Maine Coon Sir Itty Bit Jones of Fat Cat Farms.  Itty Bit came home with me on January 10, 2009.  It only took two and one half days for Itty Bit and Simba to become the best of friends.
Some of Itty Bit’s favorite things are as follows:

Playing with Simba.

  • Making sure all waste baskets are dumped over and checked out for contents.
  • Playing with the neighbor kids. He has a really fun and gentle personality. The kids have just as much fun as Itty Bit.
  •  Bringing a toy to bed so he has one handy when he wants to play.
  • Sleeping in the bathroom sink or bath tub.
  • Making sure he sticks his nose or a paw in any liquid (only allowed on cold liquid). He has to make sure it is ok for my consumption.
  • Getting drinks out of the bath room sink with Simba.  Most mornings after waking me up they are waiting on the sink for me to turn on the water.  If they learn to turn it on by themselves I surely hope they learn to turn it off also.
  • Playing in the Cat Cottage with Simba.
  • Wanting to have P and P time (purr and pet time) at 3 in the morning (I think Deb taught him this trick).
  • Learning from Simba how to open any closed doors.
  • It was amazing that a totally spoiled Simba accepted the well socialized Itty Bit in less thana week.

I would recommend a kitten from Fat Cat Farms without reservation

Kuma and Lucy

I am the proud owner of two of the sweetest Maine Coon babies from
The Fat Cat Farm . They have been responsible for making me laugh on
a daily basis with their playfulness. Kuma (Japanese for bear) is my
male and I've loved him from the first time I saw him but I kept
saying if I wanted a female I'd get Lucy and sure enough it was meant
to be. I'm so happy she has also found a home with me. She is so
smart and Kuma follows her lead. If I could read his mind I think I'd
constantly hear - Wow! I didn't know we could do that!  They love to
be with me and find a way to be involved with whatever I'm doing.
When I come home I just call their names and they come to greet me.
They seem so secure and have been very social with visitors. Kuma
likes to type on the computer and Lucy has a knack for finding all
lost toys under the furniture. They both wake me up with their
purring. Not a bad way to start the day.

The bonus has been getting to know  Deb (from a cat show) and later her husband Don. They care so much about their cats  and kittens. I don't think I could have found a more responsible breeder. I can't thank them enough and .322222 (opp's Kuma is typing again) I feel like I've gained a couple of new friends.
